This coming Sunday, February 14, 2021 is Valentine’s Day. Two precious things happen every year at this time:

  • Sweethearts give each other a gift of love. Some give chocolates, a special dinner, a dozen roses, or perhaps jewelry. And of course, with the special gift is a special card expressing one’s undying affection for the love of their life.
  • Grade school children give each other their classmates a Valentines card and a few candy hearts.

What is a template?

According to Google, a template is “a shaped piece of metal, wood, card, plastic, or other material used as a pattern for processes such as painting, cutting out, shaping or drilling.” See https://www.google.com/search?q=define+template.

According to Wikipedia, the word template, when used in the context of software like Microsoft Word, is “a sample document that has already some details in place;” See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template_(word_processing).

In other words, you can use Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications to create a spreadsheet, document, presentation, etc. where much of the work has already been done. All you have to do is enter some text and print.
